Pat Provencher
Pat’s
love of art began in high school where she took a few art classes.
She furthered her education in the art field with her studies at
Plymouth State University.
After
moving to Florida, Pat took pottery lessons at the Tampa Bay Art Center.
Her love of art continued to flourish as she took more classes in
art at Sacramento City College.
In
1982, Pat returned to Maine and attended the University of Southern Maine
where she graduated with her BS in Art Education.
Pat shared her passion for art by teaching art classes part time
for various rural schools.
Pat
has expanded her artistic side to the food industry and is currently
working at Bates College in food servicing.
You
could say art is in Pat’s blood as her mom took art classes locally and
loves to paint. Additionally,
she has a sister working at L.L. Bean where she utilizes art by doing
images on the computer for embroidery.
Pat also has a niece who sells pottery online.
Please
stop by the Court Street Branch in Auburn or the Lewiston Branch on
